Hi all,
I have recently used a particularly useful tool to review my Finances and have found this one to be very user-friendly. This is a free flexible nine-week plan that will hopefully help to build your confidence when managing your money.
The weekly steps and helpful tools will help you to cut your spending, whilst encouraging you to save and plan your financial future.
Money Helper is a government-approved online advice service, providing impartial advice on money and pensions choices. MoneyHelper brings together the support and services of three government-backed financial guidance providers: Money Advice Service, The Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise. They are also sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions.
What do I like about it?
It is very user friendly and unlike other tools it checks your mood i.e., how you are felling as you work through the nine-week plan.
What is it?
It is a free nine-week online programme that you complete at your own pace, the idea is that as you work through the programme you will become more confident in managing your finances.
How does it work?
As you will see below as you complete the tool you must record your mood and how you are feeling.
You can select the term that relates to you this ranges from feeling either of the following:
• Awful
• Bad
• Meh
• Good
• Great
I do not see any other debt support tool which monitors your feelings as you progress through the programme, so I love this aspect of the tool.
This tool provides practical tips including what to do if you are in debt including how to prioritise your debts i.e., who you should pay first if you have several debts.
