A Special thanks to all who attended the last Zoom session last Friday 2nd July 2021. Also I am grateful and appreciative for all the feedback and comments received.
A very special Thanks to Michael Wilson C.E.O of Croydon Plus Credit Union for taking time out to attend the session and providing information in relation to the benefits of the Credit Union.
I wanted to share feedback from one of the participants and have obtained their consent to do so, these are comments of Lady L as I shall call the individual.
''Janet, I love the wardrobe illustration! I have hangers outside the wardrobe! Wardrobe jam packed! I have learnt not to buy any more clothes. The pandemic helped because Debenhams closed down. I don't miss shopping for clothes. The accumulation of clothes, handbags and shoes is sickening.
I am learning finance capability is a definite because I ask questions now that I am on a limited income. Do I need it? NO!😏 Been tidying up my wardrobe for several weeks. I know that I am not in debt, I am one of those who scrutinise my bank statements so I have awareness.
However you wisely said about emergency budget for 3 months, which I am aware of because I have savings put away for that rainy day. I'm not infallible as circumstances can lead to debt at any time!
Great session as usual!''
